Our car was parked in a high pedestrian traffic area and our golf clubs and other golf items were in the trunk. Fortunately, a friend parked next to our car and informed us about the trunk being open. We were able to get it closed with no loss of items in trunk.

Trunk lid opened by itself while car was left in our garage.

Reported to KIA dealership in Renton Washington. They had never heard of this problem and took no action to resolve it.
