First off, I love my Kia except for the headlights. Everyone who gets in my car at night complains I don’t have my headlights on and I do. I took it back to Kia and they said there was nothing they could do. I was already using the brightest bulb available. I was desperate and asked to replace the entire assembly if that would help and was told no it wouldn’t change things.
I'm frustrated. Getting old and bright low beams are required. I believe they need to be adjusted upward but again, was told no.
My headlights are so dim that it makes it very difficult to see when driving at night; especially when there is rain. A news report has come out from one of the local news stations stating that the headlights on the Kia Sorento were the worst performing ones out of a list of several vehicles. So far I have not seen any recalls nor have I seen any action taken on this.
