About a 1 1/2 yr ago my exterior bulbs on my 2015 Sorento started to burnout, sometimes individually and sometimes collectively. Twice I returned my vehicle to the 3rd party dealer I bought it from, with my extended warranty.
Each time they replaced the bulbs (at no charge), and their response was they couldn't find anything. I'm very skeptical they did not dig in too deeply into the issue.
I probably have replaced a dozen back bulb and 2x both headlight bulbs. Last week the car was inspected and yet again had to replace burned out bulb. I'm going to try a Kia dealer next, but I'm open to suggestions
Update from Jun 20, 2020: I finally took my Sorento to an actual Kia dealer. The dealer replace with new / tail light and head light assemblies.
After 1 month - all bulbs are working fine. On my first visit they did tell me the back light assembly looked burnt on the inside of the socket.
I had the extended Premier warranty through All-State - The repairs were fully covered.
I will report back in a few months with further updates on this issue.
