TSB: BCM UPGRADE - IPM LOGIC IMPROVEMENT - This bulletin provides information related to a software upgrade for the Instrument Panel Module (IPM) of some 2014MY Sorento (XMa) vehicles, produced from January 22, 2013 to November 15, 2013, and equipped with a Power Tail Gate (PTG) which may exhibit an intermittent parasitic draw of up to 400mA. To correct this condition, the BCM should be reprogrammed using the GDS download, as described in this bulletin.
