Ok, this hasn't happened yet but a warning to prospective buyers. We reported 2 blown catalytic converters on this car, plus air conditioner problems on other posts. We traded-in the car due to it being unreliable. We just received a letter from Kia Motors (they don't know it was traded-in yet) dated 8/29/16 saying that our warranty was being extended to 120,000 miles due to a problem with "connecting rod wear" which can lead to engine failure. We were supposed to listen for engine knocking noises. So, buyer beware! This car comes with known engine problems, as well as the failing catalytic converters that no cause could be found for.
