I noticed a clunk sound every time the car turned the corner. I was on vacation in south Florida when I first heard the noise and had the car fixed down there. The parts serviceman said it must be a problem with the cold, snow and ice up north because very few strut bearings need replacing down south.
This problem was repaired without incident. I just question why I had a problem with so few miles on the car. By the way, it is admitted that this is a common problem, well engineering, why is it?
