CarComplaints.com Notes: There are just too many engine stalls or shuts down while driving reports to feel good about the Sorento. Especially when those things happen, on average, at just over 32,000 miles. Hopefully things will change.
Just bought the car in January of 2015, 2013 used with low mileage ... love the car but they never paired my phone to the car correctly ... I always had to connect the phone each time I got in the car .... sometimes I would forget and the phone would ring .... not connected so had to answer illegally.... in New York state ... took it back to KIa and told them it was not working and waited in parking lot for 1/2 hour or more for someone to come out and reconnect the Bluetooth .... they never came so I left it for when I got oil change June 1st..... in the meantime I had to manually connect each time getting in the car ... One day I got in and immediately saw the screen was cracked ....realized nothing worked since the screen was touch screen.
Spoke with Kia cracked screen was not covered under warranty. I would have to replace the whole system. They don't just replace the screen...How much will that cost ???? " I will get back to you in an hour " was their response.... two days later and not a word ..... I need the system to work , phone connects sometime and not all the time which is a pain to answer the phone while you are driving .... Just need a new screen,,, not he whole system replaced as they stated...
Would be of great help if they would do the right thing, I bought a Kia Sorento because of its good name ... now not so sure was a good idea.....
