This the second Kia Sorrento that I have purchased. The 2011 had the same problem, traded it in for a 2013 and have not had problems until 8500 miles. The push button start will not work randomly, also noticed the brake petal will not depress at all randomly.
Not sure if the brake lights go off and on like the 2011 but it wouldn't surprise me it is.
Never gets fixed because you can leave it at the dealer and they claim it does not do it for them.
This will be my last KIA/Hyundai car period. I will never recommend one to anyone either. I tell people to run, not walk to another car dealer.
I'm going to start looking for something else before the problem gets worse. The frequency of these problems get more frequent as time goes by.
