CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.
My 2012 Kia Sorento SX shattered on I-10W going 70mph with 4 kids in the car plus my wife. We are furious and got denied by Kia Motors even when they acknowledged the fact that there is a known issue with their sunroofs from 2011-2015. I have a Service manager at Beck&Masten Kia in Tomball,TX frustrated and unsure why Kia Motors will not cover the damages as a similar case had just happened and got covered. I also have a statement from one of the technicians at the dealership that said he KNOWS the sunroofs are faulty due to the seal that is designed crazy tight around the glass in order to make it soundproof/waterproof. I'm not looking to make out like a bandit here, I just want them to fix what's broken on their dime, not mine.
