CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.
Wife got out of the car while running and in park....car rolled thru the garage door....Kia took the car off the road for a month we did get a rental....we asked for the front damage to be repaired, $486.00 and the new garage door replacement be covered. The house is five years old, we got a great deal on it. $1200.00. They said they fixed the issue...but they could not recreate the issue...dugh. It doesn't happen all the time.
Then we get the owners manual, says it's recommended to put the cars parking brake on. ON A HILL OR INCLINE...not a flat driveway. Yea, they don't seem to want to cover the damage cost. We own two new Souls and this car and have owned two Sportages in the past, we are loyal Lia customers and we get treated like this? Seems this car has this issue....and they play stupid? Yea, not happy....
Update from Dec 4, 2015: Kia got right on it and took care of it......can't say enough for this company...very happy.
