CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.

left front axle not staying clipped in transmission (1 reports)
Rohrman Automotive Group - KIA - Fort Wayne This was second time in a month car was in for same thing. Rattle inside of vehicle after reversed going into drive experiencing clunk noise. Found left front axle not staying clipped in the transmission. Removed front axle and adjusted the axle clip installed axle tested to verify the repair.
Then recommended I replace the left front axle which I didn't do and will never use the KIA dealership in Fort Wayne EVER again. Cost for new axle would have been $520.46 on top of the $484.11 I spend a month ago. Certainly don't trust they are telling the truth at this point.
If they verified the clip repair, why would I need a new axle??????
Rohrman Automotive Group - KIA My husband took this car in June 14 and told the dealership of the nose and the clunk. They proceeded to tell him it was rust that had formed on the brake rotor and after a couple stops the rust is removed. He was then advised to do a 4 wheel alignment and that will take care of the problem. Not!!!!!
