CarComplaints.com Notes: As long as catastrophic engine failure at under 60,000 miles is the top owner complaint, it'll be pretty hard to recommend the 2012 Sorento.
Bought this car because it has seven seats but can only really use the front two. The back seats flip up just fine but the middle seats are stuck in the down position.
Kia has gotten away with murder by not having a recall on the back seat problem of there Sorento. I have owned a 2012(which I am writing about) and a 2013 Kia Sorento. I sold the 2013. Putting the back seats up and down is hard and in my situation does not work anymore. everytime I have taken it to a dealer I have been told that is the way it is . Right now I have a Kia Sorento that sits three people. I just moved to Jersey
recently and am going to go to a dealer who will probably tell me the same thing. I like the Kia Sorento but
will not recommend it to an anyone in my family.
