Instead of a truck-like body-on-frame more capable of offroad adventures, the newest Sorento is a unibody construction and is much more crossover than sport utility. The changes brought a whole slew of problems, including a frustrating problem where the door that won’t open. Is it too late to go back?
They say the problem is solved, until, the next time I go to use it, it says phone not connected. Dealer has checked this twice, and Verizon once. Not only Kia with same problem. Friend has a 2014 model and he has the same problem not staying connected.
There is a button to press when you wish to use Voice commands to make a call. Sometimes when you press this button (if the radio is on), there is a LOUD burst of static or music for a split second before it says "Please say a command". It's loud enough to make you jump. It's much louder than the radio was currently set at. I have no idea what is wrong. I tried telling the Dealership about it but they cannot duplicate it - thus, I'm crazy.
