Accident waiting to happen. Drive freeway everyday to work and could have been extremely dangerous. Fortunately, it only happened on surface streets. Car would start hesitating/lunging, check engine light would come on and car would completely stall out. Would take 15-20 min. to get it started again. Had the 02 Sensor replaced a month ago; new battery and now this. I am the second owner of this vehicle and have had it 4.5 years. If there was a recall, I never knew about it. Maybe paperwork was sent to original owner and they never forwarded it to me.
This is a very dangerous situation. If I had been on the freeway when it died, I could have been rear-ended. I thought the Sorentos were good SUV's but in all the research I've been doing, I found out otherwise. Won't buy another, that's for sure.
