While driving at very windy conditions on dry road. Brakes went out while consumer was going 75mph on highway and tried to pass another vehicle. Had to pump brakes continuously to stop vehicle. The vehicle was sent to the dealer, and the consumer did want it fix because it almost killed his family.
This car has had new transmission/brakes/radio and battery, and I am waiting on something new to happen soon. I bought this car because I thought that my feet was not aas dependable as a car..my mistake. If the repairs keep up I will have a new car without even trading!!! this car gives new meaning to lemon.
When the transmission was in reverse, it would pop out of gear into neutral. Then vehicle would stop. Also, ABS brakes were replaced twice due to excessive wear to drums. Headlights would have condensation, and dashboard was replaced due to cracks. Vehicle now on third transmission and it still slips out of reverse when backing up.

Engine check light/air bag lights are on. Car will not start, also, there was a problem with the brakes. When applying the brakes, pedal went to the floor, consumer almost had a collision.
Vehicle would shimmy whenever brakes were applied, and intermittently the pedal would harden, causing extended stopping distance. Vehicle been in / out of dealer shop on three occasions, and problem still reoccurring.
When starting the vehicle up vehicle doesn't start up properly. Also, when driving at any speed and applying the brakes, they go half way to the floorboard, and vehicle jerks. In addition, computer chip/ gear shift malfunctioned. Vehicle has been into the shop over ten times. Air bag light and the check engine light keep coming on. Dealer can't determine the cause of the problems.
Can feel brakes pulsating when attempting stop vehicle. This causes the vehicle to pull to the right. Would make grinding noises when this happens. The steering wheel would shake. Inside the vehicle, the structure would leak. Been to dealer & had entire brake system replaced.
ABS brakes malfunctioned, causing vehicle to wander and vibrate whenever brake were applied. Also, extended stopping distance. Dealer notified, and a second attempt is being made.
Ongoing problem with excessive wear of brake parts. On five occasions brake pads/rotors, and calipers have been replaced. Can NHTSA help to provide information concerning defective parts or erratic problem with brake system.
While braking brakes pulsated and caused extended stopping distance. Also, the hose that connects the thermosat to the engine leaked and caused fluid to spray onto the engine compartment, resulting in vehicle overheating which could have started a fire.
When driving at any speed and applying the brakes, vehicle shakes when coming to a stop. Also, whenever it rains water gets into vehicle on the passenger's side.
Transmission would make funny noises when shifting into gear. A new transmission was installed. Vehicle still having problems. Brakes: Would squeal when applied. Had entire brake system changed twice & problem still exists. Alignment: Due to the brakes, the tires were worn out on the inside & had to be changed.
Vehicle has previously been in two accidents. While driving only 45mph brakes failed, vehicle suddenly stopped./swerved and missed the vehicle in front.
Brakes wear out fast in front. When pedal is applied extended stopping distance occurs. Dealer contacted, and cannot remedy problem. Problem still exists. Three different instances. Provide further information.
