The vehicle was taken to king Kia (953 N frederick ave, gaithersburg, md 20879 (301) 948-3333) where the contact was informed that the door latch was not binding and the sliding door was reprogrammed. The contact stated that after the repair the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 39,000.
