Ultimately able to disengage cc on the column but not before accelerating to 80+mph heading into wall of traffic merging from three to one lanes and slowing to 45mph for construction zone. 20 miles later I pull into rest area hoping to clear error lights; turned car off and back on - couldn't get van out of park. After about 100+ restarts finally able to get van into drive. Limped home, flatbedded to dealership next morning. Still no acknowledgement of issue from service department 24 hours later.
