A year ago I do receive a recall letter notifying for rusty lower arms wheels to be replaced but such thing never happened. The dealer just apply more rust inhibitors but procedures was not the appropriate cure for the problem. When the vehicle is on motion a very disturbing noise came just under the wheels. See pictures they are more self explanatory just the driver side it's shown due to file limitation.
The contact owns a 2007 Kia Sedona. While driving approximately 10 mph, the contact lost control of the vehicle and the steering became unresponsive. The vehicle coasted approximately three feet before stopping. The vehicle was towed to the repair shop where it was diagnosed that the front passenger and driver side control arms were corroded. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximately failure mileage was 107,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Kia Sedona. The contact stated that there was a noise emitting from the rear of the vehicle. The contact mentioned that the steering wheel was tight. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop who diagnosed that the front struts, the front mounts, the sway bar and the rack and pinion fractured and needed to be replaced. The contact was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 13V550000 (suspension). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
