The contact owns a 2005 Kia Sedona. While driving 45 mph, the contact crashed into the left drivers side door of another vehicle. The contact stated that the frontal air bags did not deploy. The driver and the front seat passenger, sustained neck and back injuries. As of March 24, 2008, the dealer had not inspected the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were 18,500. The dealer information was not available.
While going 45mph consumer's vehicle was hit head on. Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy. This happened on August 19, 2005. The brakes locked and slid into the vehicle. Called Kia, and they said they will call the consumer.
