The engine blew at 140000 km , not covered under warranty, even when proper maintenance with oil preformed. Used synthetic oil. KIA head office won't do anything about it because we were not using their sh*tty oil filters. From what I have read, the 2 liter GDI engines are blowing up all the time. Stay away from the KIA GDI engines, bad news, and no support. Bessada KIA did give us a discount on the repair, they shaved a $1000 dollars off on the repair, Thanks Bessada in Ajax.
