I took my car to a local alignment shop because my tires were wearing oddly on the inside only (bald, wires coming out) of my rear wheels. Nothing wrong with the alignment. Took it to Kia for the"undercoat" letter I got and they came and got me to look at my rear tires - same problem again (tires less than 4 months old and bald with wires on the inside again)! They said something about the rear end squatting and the camber and springs needing replaced @ about $400 a side, not including the purchase price of new tires! They said it has been a problem with this model before. Well, hubby and I are going to fix it ourselves for the cost of parts and buy another set of new tires (again - which I am really pissed about, since Kia knows this is a problem and won't fix it in a recall or anything else!!!!). I will get rid of this car asap and will not buy another KIA product since everything in this car when it needs replacing is "odd size/make/model/etc" and costs over twice as much as anything else (just bought new headlight bulbs at $21+ each side)! What a joke!
