The contact owns a 2007 Kia Rondo. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 12V014000 (air bags). While driving at any speed, the passenger side air bag warning indicator illuminated, which was a safety concern. The vehicle was taken to schumacher Buick GMC of North palm beach (3720 northlake blvd suite C, lake park, fl 33403, 561-935-4212) where it was confirmed that the parts were not available. The technician replaced the sensors, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified, but was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
