I brought brand new Kia Rio model Dec 2019, on 24.1.24, I had major service with brake pad changing and all on 24.2.2024. My car brake totally not working during a drive and we survive a almost death! Half way driving brake totally empty, upon checking the brake hose leaking. KIA RIO service centre at Bangi, KL, informed it is wear & tear ! I found this answer totally unacceptable! It could be their negligence during service or manufacturing defect. how could a brake pump broke and classified this as wear & tear ?!!! it means thousand of people can be death on the road while driving due to brake malfunction !
The way KIA handle total unacceptable. KIA worldwide KOREA also very secretive in keeping the customer service contact and totally uncontactable!
I am clueless and thinking of filling a case so that these people will learn to accept their own accountability !
