Rental vehicle: Budget car rental, tampa, Florida, vehicle was involved in a frontal collision of 35 mph, and neither air bag deployed. Consumer states that the front passenger seat belt did not work adequately, there were 2 injuries in the accident.
This is the second rear seatbelt that has begun to shred with normal use. The dealer claims that nobody else has complained about this part or the Kia Rio. I have written a letter to the head of Kia motors corporation, but with no reply.
Right rear seat belt assembly, is being replaced by dealership from rubbing clips seat belt frayed and begun coming apart. Contacted immediatly this car in the back seat is not safe for children !
