I was driving my 2019 Kia Optima FE coming around a corner doing about 25 miles per hour when the steering control arm gave out causing a Huge crash on this car and a total loss on the car of $16,000. The air bags did not deploy, which caused me to gash my head against the windshield, a cracked sternum, and shoulder pain so intense, it is still problematic two weeks later.
