I have a brand new kia optima. This is the first year they made the windshield wipers so they can't be lifted up. Living in new England, I always put my windshield wipers up in the winter so they won't stick to the windshield. The day after I bought car noticed a chip on the hood where someone had tried to lift wiper up. Had to have hood repainted. Haven't tried changing blades yet, but I'm sure it won't be easy.
