I went to Kia to find out why this piece of junk engine light keep coming on. I was there from 8am to about 12pm. Even though my car is burning oil. They didn't find any leaks nor codes. They found 1 which was for my thermostat. The guy said he need to take it off to inspect and possibly still under warranty. All this time I was thinking they had replace it once they found out it was bad. I get call to service hit with a bill for 145.00. I ask was the part still under warranty. He replied we need to order the part and it will cost 240.00. I replied you mean to tell me I sit here all this time, thinking you all was fixing the problem knowing the part wasn't in stock.😤😤🤬🤬.
I was robbed that day. The 145.00 was for reading the code. I could've gone to Auto for free. A thermostat only cost 20-30.00. They are talking about 240.00.
