Not going to rant nor yell. I am grateful that I am alright and that nobody else got injured. I was driving on the highway, 15 miles from work, when the sunroof shattered. It sounded like a loud ping, almost like someone shot the glass. The initial hole was the size of a basketball but got a bit larger as I drove back in to town. I was on the phone with insurance, KIA customer service, KIA dealership, as well as KIA roadside assistance. I was able to get the vehicle towed to the dealership for evaluation of the problem (need new sunroof). They will not tell me if they will cover the cost of replacement nor the cost of a rental car while they are evaluating/fixing the car.

The car has less than 2000 miles and just made my first car payment the day before the incident. Yes, I could just cry!!! Too much in the air and I don't feel comfortable about this. I see that others have experienced what I did and am hoping that KIA recognizes this as a problem and backs their guarantee by fixing the problem to where I am not out any money, just my time and patience. Here is my question, has anyone had this happen to their car?
