DO NOT BUY A KIA!!! I have a 2015 Kia Optima Turbo. And since the time I've bought it the Turbo and the engine have had to be replaced after dying out.
3 weeks ago i noticed it was doing a small jolt at initial take off. Keep in mind I was still under the 100,000k warranty so I expected to get help. The dealer checked the car and said there was NOTHING wrong and they did not notice any jolt when test driving car, they said "not to worry" fast forward 3 weeks our car is now at the Kia Cerritos dealer and they are said our Turbo needs a part to be replaced and it will be about $700( keep in mind the entire turbo has already been replaced once at Cerritos dealer and we have kept up with maintenance and it was literally just checked 3 weeks ago and was said to have "no issues")
With no other options because I cannot get any help from corporate since apparently the are closed until further noticed we told them to go ahead and fix it. We were set to pick the car up at 5:30 pm today, fixed. They just called us a 4:45 pm , 45 minutes before our scheduled pick up time to say it's actually the entire Turbo that needs to be replaced YET AGAIN!!!!! this is absurd how many times in 5 years do engines and turbos need to be fully be replaced? These cars are complete Lemons( do some research about all the recalls and car issues before investing your money) buy a Honda or a Toyota to avoid all this BS.
NOW THEY WANT 3-4K to replace the entire turbo yet again since I am just barely over 100,000k miles. But 3 weeks ago it was perfectly fine?!? That make it 2 turbo changes and and engine change in less than 5 years. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, MONEY AND HEADACHE AND DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A KIA
