Suspension has always been very rough as small bumps feel like hitting potholes. After driving many vehicles, I have to say this is the worst driving car I have ever driven due to the strength required to steer the vehicle and the hard, bumpy suspension system.
Recently noticed shaking/pulling of right front passengers side wheel on hwy which quickly progressed at lower and lower speeds until now occurring on 35mph streets. Refuse to drive on the hwy anymore and took it into be checked. Also, the steering wheel and right front passengers seat shake more based on increasing speed, while wheel feels unstable as if the suspension is going to give out and the wheel will fall off or collapse from breaking off the tie rods. It just feels like something is going to break and feels very unstable.
Took the car to be checked and service kept the vehicle as advised it was not safe to drive. They said they would not feel right letting me drive the vehicle in this unsafe condition and insisted to schedule an inspection of the suspension.
For a car used for driving, the suspension should be smooth riding and absorb the small road bumps instead of feeling like hitting potholes over every little crack in the road. The ride is jarring and very disappointing.
I'm awaiting the suspension inspection results and hope the expense for repair is not extreme as the car should have a better suspension system to begin with. Next vehicle purchase will definitely not be a Kia unless major improvements and safety standards have been resolved.
