The check engine light comes on because my fuel sensor is not working and states that I don't have gas in my car. My car hasn't been in any type of accident and it shouldn't be this way when the car is still in good condition and well taken care of. While driving once I fill up my gas tank, I can drive down the road, then all of sudden the car will show no gas and it's empty. The gas light will stay on or flicker off and on.. so therefore the check engine light will stay on because of this. The car dealership wants to charge me $750 to get it fixed. They said this is very unusual for one of those to go bad.
