Paint is chipping on both window pillars. Pearl White color. It's not that old for paint to be chipping of in huge chunks. I'm afraid to wash my car cause more paint will chip off if I do. I don't think we should have to pay to have this repaired. This seems to be a ongoing defect with the paint. Please help in fixing this issue. Paid a lot of $$$ for it. And I see I'm not the only one have this same problem.

My 2013 Kia Optima has two HUGE spots where the paint started flaking away. It's only 4 years old and at this rate the paint will be GONE in a couple years. The warranty is only up to 3 years and they took one look and said NOPE you're SOL because you're past the warranty. I took it to a paint shop and they told me it was DEFINITELY a paint defect. There are a couple small chips near the bottom and front end where rocks and thing fly up and cause chips and that I understand However, my problem is the two huge 8x2.5" chunks of missing paint are both around the front and back windshields. They said "paint jobs are expensive" no sh*t, so is buying a new car and then having to repaint it a few years later. Thank for nothing KIA.

By accident I noticed the paint "cracked" on the hood of my car. I've only had my car for exactly 1 year. I had hoped to keep this car for a long time but not if the paint is cracking.

I am very angry & sick of trying to get someone to help me? My dealer OUTTEN KIA ,HAMBURG.PA . has ignored me since we had a huge argument b/c they lied about what went on with the sale that took one hour!

That included test drive paperwork & sale. They overcharged me, could not possibly have done a a new car sale end to end in an hour & then left me drive it home with a low tire. The car never looked like a new car b/c it never shined. I started to complain at 150 miles & went through the chain of command up to KIA USA . Was told they would fix it under warranty. Went back & had an excuse for not being able to do it free. I HAD TO PAY.

I wrote letters ,calls & I am sick of it .

I am very sorry that I sold my Toyota Scion ,it had 180,000 original miles & still look & drove like it was brand new.

Outten Kia promised me the World when I purchased Service contact for $1195.00, Simoniz for $350.00 & $450.00MVP .

But when I went to schedule a paint job & fix, NOT COVERED. The car dealer will not fix.

Do NOT BUY FROM OUTTEN KIA IN HAMBURG.

They lie & cheat .
