Windshield: july 2015 same car 2009 kia: i was sitting in the car with the my grand children when i heard a sound like fingernails on a chalk board i look back at them and the older child go Look Mema point at the front i turn back and the dog gone Windshield is cracking not cracked but cracking moving. i got out of the car and got them out in time the entire windshield looked like cracked ice no joke. i had to call my insurance and they had to send someone to replace the window that cost me $275.00 and several hours in a Walmart Parking lot while my daughter and her girls shop.
researching online, I found other kia owners with same issues who had dealership take care of it under warrenty. Others like myself however, are having hard time dealing with the dealership. reading the warranty manual this should be covered under the basic warranty 60,000miles/5years. I will have to call kia HQ to make complaint.
I WENT TO THE VIA CAR DEALERSHIP ON OATS IN NETSUITE. THE GUY IN SERVICE department would not try to help me. Just brushed me off. My daughter has 2 Kias in La. And has not had any problems from her dealership. I am so dissatisfied with them, I will never get another Kia.
