The contact owns a 2007 Kia Optima. The contact stated that the subframe corroded prematurely due to salt. The contact stated that while approaching a stop light and making a left turn, the front driver side wheel locked. The contact was able to aggressively maneuver the vehicle to prevent a crash. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop. The technician diagnosed that the subframe and the frame were corroded. As a result, the subframe fractured.
