There were no warning lights illuminated. The brakes were inoperable. The air bags deployed. There were no reported injuries, fire or police report filed. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the faikure. The failure mileage was approximately 144,800.
