This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Dealer sold me a car with two front rims that are dented causing steering complications. The steering wheel shakes and pulls to the right, there is a whine noice coming from the column.
When new, the car vibrated at higher speeds (60+) and the dealer replaced 3 of the four new hankook tires because they were defective at about 1,500 miles on the car odometer. At about 22,000 miles, the car started vibrating again. About 2 weeks later, I took the car over to discount tires and they pointed out the the tread on the right/passenger was separating, making this 4 out of 7 hankook tires that have been put on this car that are defective. Searching 'Kia K900 vibration' on the website generates numerous results of owners having similar problems related to hankook tires. These hankook tires are defective and dangerous, and should not be allowed to be sold until the problem is fixed. I've been driving almost 45 years and never had tread separation like this, or this many tire failures.
