I purchased my 2015 Kia K900 in June of 2018. I absolutely love the car but it has one really awful issue. Driving at night with the low beam headlights on, you can only see 10-12 feet in front of the car. The high beams are perfect. I have asked the dealer many times to fix it and they always say it is, but I pick the car up before it is dark and then there it is. My wife does not want to drive it at night now. Someone please help me. We love the car, but this has to be a simple fix.
Columbia SC Kia dealership tried multiple times to fix the problem - but now say they cannot fix the lights. Kia states the dealership reported the problem fixed; they recommend we take vehicle back to dealership. Meanwhile, I have a car I can only drive in the daytime.
Purchased this vehicle summer of 2017 used with 21,000 miles. When driving at night the LED progressive h/lamps are only lighting about 10 to 12 feet in front of the vehicle. Very unsafe to drive at night. My wife is now hesitant to drive it due to this. I have had at the dealer 3 times for this and they move the adjustment nut ,it is not correct.
The headlights on my Kia K900 do not shine far enough down the road. Even though these cars come with LED headlights (which are supposed to be the brightest and the best), driving at night is for the most part horrible. I always have to put on my brights when driving down a dark road because the low beams and fog lights don't provide enough "throw" of the light beam down the road. I asked the dealership to raise them, but they didn't. They acted shocked that I wanted them raised and then they said they were auto leveling. What does that have to do with driving down a flat dark road??? That feature is only valuable when you have a full trunk or people in the back seat where the back of the car is lower than normal or when you accelerate and the headlights will tilt forward to keep from blinding oncoming traffic. It has nothing to do with a flat road. Kia needs to reevaluate the level of these headlights so that they actually throw a normal beam of light that actually illuminates the road more than 20 feet in front of the car!!!

This car has less than 55k miles, and to have poor lighting is ridiculous.
I haven't taken the car to the dealership to get a quote.
