The car was purchased in May 2015 from Nalley Kia in Lithonia,GA. Car was shipped from the KIA factor in Ga directly to the dealer:
1.) In September 2015 the air conditioner compressor had to be replaced because when you turned the car on and ran the air conditioner, it sounded like a freight train. The car also smelled of fumes like buning oil or sometthing. I complained to the dealer about this on several occassions.
2.) In October 2015, the malfunction indicator light came on as I was exiting my home and the car began to shake and pull. I tried driving up the street and the car kept jerking and pulling.
I called KIA roadside assistance to take car to dealership to find out the problem. They CLAIM, after checking nationwide and the KIA factory no one was having this issue, they drove the car and it drove effortlessly. No. issue. Perhaps I had some "bad gasoline" in the car.
They kept the car for 3 days.
3.) Needless to say, the same thing happened again in November 2015 but this time malfunction light stayed on permanently and the car was not drivable.
I had KIA roadside service take the car to another dealership and found out "THE ENTIRE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM HAD TO BE REPLACED." The same day I left the dealer the malfunction light came on again, the car jerked and then it went off.
I noticed when I chose the different drive methods such as "ECO" and "SPORT" that's when I'm having issues with the engine and the fuel injection.
A week after having the car repaired, the "sport" drive mode came on suddenly. I didn't touch a thing.
Needless to say, I am contacting the state of Ga and filing under our lemon law.
Having engine/fuel injection problems is a major concern.
I have been sold a defective vehicle and I refuse to pay the note which is the equivalent to my mortgage payment.
