So I have been having this problem for about 1 month or so. My Cruise control and Head on Collision (I think thats the name) keeps getting disabled. It happens randomly at times, not consistently but rather now and then. My car is kind of brand new - it has about 5k miles, no accident or anything. After a snow storm this started happening, and Kia dealership told me it is normal and they have no way of fixing it. I didn't just pay for this features for it not to work. I even gave a carwash and cleaned all the sensors and yet the problem keeps appearing. Sometimes it won't even happen for days and then randomly it'll happen.
When I called Kia, they told me to go to a different dealership and see what they say. This is so unfair and this a safety regulation also. As far as I know, they said all the software and technology are up to date. They also said this happens when there is Snow/Rain, Direct Sunlight/Heavy Fog, or a contaminated vehicle. But it doesn't make sense for it to happen on a normal day without any dirt or contamination. Plus when I go on long drives, I want to use the cruise control, but if that feature doesn't work than they need to fix it ASAP!
