At 60,000 miles during a car wash, I noticed that the plastic, painted wheel inserts were peeling and the paint coming off in flakes. The plastic underneath is a pale yellow and looks terrible against the black and silver car. I have never used any other cleaner other than actual car wash soap. I've also never used a power washer to clean the wheels or car. Through continued use, the flaking has continued so now that all 4 wheels have this issue to some degree. Cosmetic issue, but shouldn't be happening and looks terrible.
