TSB: STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED AUDIO CONTROL MALFUNCTION - This bulletin provides the procedure to inspect and, if necessary, replace the clock spring assembly on some 2014-2018MY Forte (YD/YDm) vehicles, produced from February 20, 2013 through June 30, 2018, which may experience intermittent malfunctioning steering wheel audio controls due to a clock spring connector pin deformation, with no related DTCs for this concern. Note: this does not impair the clock spring airbag function. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to inspect the clock spring female connector and, if necessary, replace the clock spring assembly.
