I have a 2010 Kia Forte and it starts but it won't stay on, it keeps shutting off. It sounds like it's flooded.

2010 Kia forte Cannot run 87 octane. Tried at least 4 different brands. Takes 2 -3 tries to start. When I run 92 octane no problems. I can run 3 tanks of 92 octane no problem starting. Put in 87 always have a problem. Kia service has no idea how to fix. I am upset because, I purchased this car for the fuel economy and this is defeating the purpose. Can anyone help?
