I have seen others have the same complaint. I cannot believe Kia did not have a recall on this issue, We could have been killed and if I was driving we would have because I would have slammed on the brakes and we would have got rear ended at 55 mph. I still owe 2 years of payments and they totaled my car so now I get 3,200 and that goes to the finance company and we are out of a vehicle. I wish I could sue Kia for what has happened especially seeing that other people have had the same thing happen to them. I am calling a lawyer tomorrow to see if there is anything I can do because it was Kia's faulty hood latch that broke and caused the hood to fly up in the first place. I am beyond pissed and have no idea what I am going to do as I don't have a penny towards another car!!
