After owning the vehicle for 8-9 months the car began to make a noisy "Lazy" sound whenever we would turn the A/C off or the vehicle off. Took it to KIA several times, but they said they couldn't find any issues with it & did not hear any noise coming from the vehicle. Yet as soon as it was driven off it would do it. Eventually after 4-5 times that it was taken to KIA they finally heard the sound and said they would check it out. Needless to say, the KIA dealership informed us that the sound that it makes is a normal part of the KIA Carnival & there is nothing they can do to fix it.
It is embarrassing to turn off the vehicle when having people in it that are not aware of it. I've never experience this with any car & don't believe that it is a normal part of the air system of the car to make such annoying sound especially since it never did it before when we first bought and during the first 8-9 months of owning it.
