Bought a Dec 1999 model Kia Carnival from Ken Morgan Brighton (Victoria, Australia) in October 2007. Total engine failure in mid November 2007. Ken Morgan wanted me to trade the car back in AS IT IS (scrap value) for another Kia. What a bunch of crooks. Christmas plans which I've worked very hard and waited for all year is ruined.
Apparently the car will be ready only in Feb 2008. This means 3 out of 4 months, the car lives in the Ken Morgan workshop. NEVER BUY ANY CARS FROM KEN MORGAN BRIGHTON, 913 NEPEAN HWY, VIC 3189. They will try to rip you off as much as they can.
KIA Australia knew there was an engine design fault in the Kia Carnival but they did not recall. Instead they hoped that the problem will go away and inconvenient thousands of consumers. . With a high percentage of engine failures, some with multiple engine change, they continue to sell this LEMON in Australia. KIA is NOT WORTH STEALING SO BE WARNED ... NEVER BUY A KIA
