On several occasions when I am out driving running errands, I will go into a store and come out and my car does not start. I press the start button but it never fires. Sometimes it takes 3 -4 times before starting. In some occasions the car will actually start after I lift my finger from the start button, but when this happens it tends to ride rough and I noticed that the RPM gauge stays on zero and never moves. Neither does the gas mileage bar. Very odd. But then I can drive it to another store, stop and when I return the car fires/starts with no problem. I've taken it in once and they had no clue and finally said it was the fuel pump, but shortly after it started doing the same thing. But no light ever pops up on the dash board to indicate a problem. So not sure if any codes are being stored in the computer when this happens. It only seems to happen when I am out running errands.
