The contact owns a 2004 Kia Amanti. The contact stated the air bag warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer numerous times for the failure. The dealer replaced the battery three times. The clock spring was also replaced but to no avail. The manufacturer advised the vehicle warranty expired therefore they would not provide any assistance. The failure mileage was 40,000 and current mileage is 65,000. Updated 10/21/10. It was determined that a ground wire was the problem, which was repaired. Updated 10/16/10
