The first time this happened I was in Maryland, while reversing out of a parking spot onto [XXX], the Jeep just shut off, just before that every light on the panel went off and the ABS, Powertrain just to name a few failed. I was stuck 3/4 out of the spot when the shutdown occurred, the steering wheel locked, gear shift wouldn-??t move and when I tried to press the brake it wouldn-??t go down. I had to hit the ignition to reset it while out in oncoming traffic, after 2 attempts, I was able to get it started and shift into park, then drive and then pull in. During this time the check engine light was on. When I returned to NH I took it to the dealership ( Bonneville & son) they had it for nearly 2 weeks, determined it was the alternator output. They ordered a new one but due to a sku error in jeeps system, it was the wrong part, so they had it an additional 4 days. Today [XXX], I was pulling Symmes Dr to park at the park and ride in Londonderry. While going around a curve, the jeep did the same thing and just shut off at 32mph. Steering wheel locked up, everything went dark on all screens, I could not brake or accelerate. There was no space on the side of the road, there was a line of 3 cars on the opposite lane and there was a tractor trailer in my rearview mirror shuttering. He was able to stop at an angle but was stopped less than 4 feet from my rear bumper. When I saw it in the mirror, I thought that was it. I was almost killed today due to jeeps complacency. We purchased the vehicle on March 23, 2024. A few days later, a couple of dozen miles on it, the vehicle started to constantly show the following message on the dashboard 'Service Hybrid Electric Vehicle System'. We brought it to the dealership based on their earlies availability on April 17, 2024. They told us there's nothing wrong with the vehicle and it's safe to park inside our garage and we needed to wait for the 'harness' to arrive and be replaced. Finally on May 10th, 2024 the harness arrived and we brought the vehicle back to the dealership to perform the replacement. The vehicle has been in that dealership ever since and this past tuesday, June 18th, 2024 we were informed that the problem is now worse after attempting to repair it for about 40 days and that Jeep/Stellantis adviced the dealership to park the vehicle outside as it's not safe to park it inside anymore. Very scary for a brand new car! Please see attached pictures documenting the situation. The manufacturer refuses to apply the lemon law even though it has been well over 30 days and it hasn't been repaired.

I was making a right turn at approximately 20mph and the car stalled and gas pedal felt empty. I got the car into park. I was driving and more then 10 times my car has stalled in the middle of the street while driving and the gear -??D-?? began blinking and note has displayed on the screen saying -??shift to P then to gear-?? and said -??check transmission-?? after shifting to park, the car locked up and I then had to shut off the car, open the door and then turn the car back on to get it to drive again. This happened multiple times and happens every time the vehicle come to a stop at a red light or stop sign. I took the vehicle to the dealership and explained the problem and they placed me in a loaner car for a day or 2. When I was called to come the car everything seemed fine. They said the car -??needed to be updated-?? I drove off and it was okay that afternoon and had no begun to stall and shut off in the street once again.

On the 2nd and 4th day of owning the vehicle the engine stalled while stopped I'm traffic at a red light. Both times the dash flashed "service transmission" and then instructed me to place the vehicle in "park". Once in park the dash instructed me to push the "start/stop" button but nothing would happen. I was stuck for a few minutes each time in traffic until the whole system finally powered down and I was able to restart. I brought it to the dealer the evening of the second engine stall and the Jeep was there for over a month waiting for a new transmission. They replaced the transmission even though this was a brand new vehicle out of the factory with serious safety issues and should have never been sold in the first place. There are many people on the Wrangler 4xe forums with the same issue please issue recalls! People are at risk of injury or death!

2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. This is the second I bringing my wrangler to the dealership repair center within 30 day. first time they have replace new battery, I thought the problem had solved, and the same problem happened again. I drove to other state after one hour, dashboard cluster appeared red turtle and the Adaptive cruise control and engine warning light popped up. driving speed gradually drain to 2 mph. and I heard loud fan noise run at high speed, I have to wait 10 minute until the fan noise gone, than I can continue to drive, luckily I can made it back home, second day I drive to the dealership, after 15 minutes driving the red turtle popped up again while I am driving on the highway. lost power again I then exit the highway, and wait until the the fan noise goes away, then I start the engine, the fan loud noise comes again, I shutoff the engine and waited again, I kept doing this 40 minutes, it still don't work I have to give up and called a tow truck to towed the 4xe wrangler to the dealership. repair time uncertain.

1. This vehicle has shut itself off three separate times since Tuesday, 29 January. This happens when using the "E-save" system;i.e. mainly the gasoline engine and the engine has not yet reached full operating temperature. It has happened only while stopped at a traffic light. Being stopped at a traffic light with a stalled vehicle immediately irritates the drivers behind or worse a driver approaching from behind with a green light. I could be rear ended. 3. On [XXX], my wife was driving down the highway and vehicle started to "buck" and almost stalled out. Check engine light came. She was able to make it to the dealer. Dealer ran the diagnostics and received the P0032, P0171, P2097 and P0300 codes. The dealer found the attached document with basically no repair available. We contacted Jeep customer service and were told that it needs a software update, however, they did not know when it would be available. I was not satisfied with that answer and the case was transferred to Jeep retention. In the meantime, we picked up our Jeep and was advised by the service advisor that this is a known issue and advised us to keep the Star publication in the Jeep so if/when it happens again, they will know what to do. This isn't something we can fix since resetting the fuel system requires their equipment. Jeep retention just reiterated what customer service said. When driving through the a parking lot on my way to work, my brand new Wrangler with just over 1000 miles stalled/stopped running and lost power steering and wouldn-??t restart for about 10 mins. I got a bunch of error messages but I can-??t remember them all but one was about servicing the charging station (it wasn-??t plugged in) and I had a check engine light stay on after I finally got it to start. It-??s currently at the dealership and the tech mentioned that he saw there was a PIM (power inverter module) code that looks to have malfunctioned. They haven-??t been able to duplicate the error yet at the dealership. My safety will for sure be at risk if the dealership doesn-??t fix it because my car could randomly turn off on the highway and could put me at risk of being hit or if I was crossing traffic and it stalled in the middle of a lane causing me to get or it could leave me stranded in a dangerous area. No one other than the dealership maintenance department a has inspected yet.

When coming to a stop light, vehicle stopped and shut off completely. It would stop for 3-5 minutes in order to be able to restart. This occurrence has happened no less than 6 times since purchase of vehicle (approximately 1 week old). Currently Jeep only has 426 miles. Very concerned about the safety. Luckily the automatic shut off has only happened when at a stop light. No this is not the engine shutting off and restarting after the gas is depressed. The Jeep simply will not move and you have to try and restart multiple, multiple times in order to drive it again. It will take anywhere between 3-5 minutes. Good afternoon. My name is [XXX]. On [XXX], I signed a two year lease on a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara at Herb Chambers Jeep of Danvers, MA. Two days later on [XXX], the new Wrangler I had only driven 30 miles, stalled at a red light- less than a quarter of a mile from a railroad crossing. The vehicle was undriveable, was not able to be started let alone shifted into neutral. What was seemingly just an inconvenience at the time has raised some major safety concerns as a Jeep driver. My vehicle has been at the dealership for over 3 weeks after the initial day it was towed as it was completely undriveable. The department stated that it may need a new transmission, and this issue needed to be escalated to Jeep Corporation. After communicating with the service department it is my understanding that -??if the same code does not arise, the vehicle can be returned to me.-?? After escalated, I was given the resolution that -??it simply was a coding issue and the vehicle could be picked up.-?? I am highly concerned that a vehicle that has not had any maintenance rendered to it in the weeks (18 business days, which constitutes a Lemon Law in the state of Massachusetts) it has been at the dealership after it was completely stalled, can be returned to me without any answers other than -??this happens sometimes.-?? As I know, since in the shop, only codes have been run and the vehicle has been driven by the foreman mechanic to try to elicit the same code from [XXX]. To my knowledge there are several cases similar to mine involved in a class action law suit. I would like light shed on this issue as it is highly alarming as a major safety concern. This happened on 12/2/2023 it was towed to the dealership they told us it had a defective main battery and there were two blown fuses but they could not figure out why. Then on Wednesday 12/6/23 they called and said they figured it out and it was fixed. Then 3 days later on 12/9/23 the car shut down again this time it was parked it said it was running but it wasn't it was flashing that the HOOD WAS NOT LATCHED, SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM. the dealership has had the Jeep since 12/9/23 on 12/14/23 I received a vehicle health report SERVICE BRAKING SYSTEM FAILURE, ABS FAILURE I thought maybe they were working on the car but my husband spoke to the service advisor and told him of the alert I received and he told my husband that, that was odd because the car was not being worked on. It is now 12/27 no phone calls returned and no update on the vehicle

I was driving when the car malfunctioned and gave a transmission error. It said to put the car on park and once I did, it said to have the transmission looked at. I was unable to cost to the side of the road, and my vehicle was in the middle of a busy street. The car lost power, and was unable to come back on, even though some parts were lit up. Once road service arrived, they charged the car and the car started and I was able to park it to have it towed.
