When driving the jeep and the engine light comes on (this light comes on and off repeatedly but is mostly on). When the light is on you will have major issues when trying to accelerate regardless of the speed. if you push the gas to full acceleration the speed will drop down from 3-5 mph or completely drop to zero. If you leave your foot on the gas it will take 15-30 seconds for the engine to engage and provide power. It feels like its trying to look to the battery EV motor for power even though the battery is dead. in same cases the engine does not restart at all and i have had to pull over to the hard shoulder to pull off of live traffic. I have several videos showing the issue. i have been to the deal 4 times to have this reviewed and they keep telling me they can't find an issue regardless of the videos i have provided. at this time Jeep has taken my Vehicle and gave me a long term rental as they look into this issue more. My Videos are on my cell phone and i can't get them uploaded. I think i could compress the videos and e-mail them.
When operating the vehicle about ~50mph, and if you drive over a pothole, or bump in the road, the frontend of the vehicle wobble/vibrate uncontrollably. The only solution (I have found) is to lower the speed (which is obviously a problem on the freeway). I purchased the vehicle new from the dealer, have not made any modifications, and they (the dealer) is telling me the tires are the source of the "death wobble" problem. I have spoken to other Jeep owners that have had the same issue and it had nothing to do with the tires. The solution from the dealers perspective is "replace all four tires" (they claim its the Firestone brand of tires) at my expense.
I was driving my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door Willys on a 4 lane divided road approaching a stop light. The stoplight was red so I started slowing down approximately 200 feet from the intersection. I applied the brake pedal and the vehicle started to slow down. As I was approaching the intersection I could feel the vehicle accelerating and it was difficult to get it to stop. I was almost stopped approximately 3 - 5 feet from the vehicle in front of me, when the jeep lunged forward and struck the vehicle in front of me. The jeep continued to accelerate and was trying to push the vehicle in front of me. I shoved the gear shift into Park and that stopped the acceleration. I never took my foot off of the brake pedal during the entire incident. The force of the acceleration lifted the front of my vehicle and my bumper went on top of the other vehicle's bumper and dented the rear hatch of the other vehicle. There were no indicator lights before or after the incident. I drove the vehicle to my home approximately a mile from the accident without issues. I later had the vehicle towed to the CDJR dealer for inspection. After 3 weeks in the Service center, they did not find any issues and could not reproduce the problem and the vehicle was released back to me.
While driving on the freeway, the car showed a message saying -??performance issue-?? and lost power. I couldn-??t accelerate and the car stopped. I couldn-??t power on or down the car. It looked like an alternator issue and it wasn-??t giving enough power to the battery. AAA arrived hour and half later. Tried to jump but it didn-??t do anything. Finally had to tow the car to the nearest dealership. The car is not even a year old and has less than 10k miles. Its a safety issue being stuck like that without any warning signs at middle of the freeway!

As I was driving home at around 45 mph, I noticed a flashing light on the dashboard. The light was instructing me to switch to 'P' to start. Additionally, there was a light indicating a plug-in, and the 'D' was flashing. I wasn't sure what was happening, but I knew something was wrong. Gradually, the acceleration slowed down, and I started to feel uneasy. I quickly pulled over to the side of the road. Luckily, the car behind me wasn't speeding, and they were able to slow down and give me space. I put the car in park, turned it off, and then turned it on again. After doing so, I waited for a few seconds, hoping that the problem would be resolved. To my relief, the flashing lights disappeared, and the car started normally. I checked the dashboard again, and everything seemed to be in order. I resumed driving but couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Now, driving on the highway in Orlando worries me.
I was driving on the highway and as the electric engine ran out of power (it is a plug-in hybrid), the car failed to switch to the gasoline engine. There were warning lights that flashed and the "D" on the gear shifter was flashing. Power steering still worked, but could not accelerate. I was in the far right lane and was able to coast into the breakdown lane where I turned the car off, waited a few second and turned it back on and it was running on the gas engine. I took it to the dealer the next day and they said they tried to recreate it, but the electric engine had not been drained, so I don't believe they had.
On June 17 I was driving on the highway in Tupelo, MS with my sister and three children. I was going about 80 mph when the entire engine shut down spontaneously. The dash lights said plug into a power outlet. I was driving in hybrid mode with a half tank of gas. I briefly lost control of the car because it was such a powerful jolt when it shut down. I was able to pull over to shoulder of the highway, completely terrified and shifted the jeep into park. The warning lights were telling me to put in park and press the start button. I followed the instructions and the jeep engine started and the warning lights turned off. I have contacted Chrysler to file a complaint as well as the dealership. I am afraid the drive my vehicle on the highway for fear of having a major accident
