The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle, the odor of diesel fuel was present outside the vehicle, and fuel was leaking underneath the rear passenger-??s side of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed that the fuel filter housing and fuel filter electrical plug were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired by the dealer. The contact later repaired the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 46,000. The VIN was not available.
